Top 5 Korean Dishes
I am really starting to enjoy a good Korean meal. The price is right, the side dishes are bottomless, and the food is FRESH…most of the time RAW.. I have eaten more meals consist of raw food, here, than In my whole life, and I love it.
Aside from having delicious raw plants (and some animals), Korea pretty much only uses one spice, the red pepper, and they put it on almost everything, in a sauce known as Gochujang (고추장).
OK here are the top 5
5. Shabu Shabu
Shabu shabu is a 3 course meal fit for kings. As soon as you are seated you get the first course consists of salad, then boiling hot soup with fresh, raw veggies. As the soup gets to the boiling point, you can take thinly sliced beef, and dip it into the soup (This is a fun way to cook beef BTW). When the beef and soup is gone, bring on the cooked rice and veggies.
Price : ranging from 6,000\ to 8,000\ depending on the hour of day.
4. Hwe Mulyachi Bokumbop
This is a HUGE meal made for two. It consists of fried rice and seafood cooked right in front of you! If you love seafood, and love rice, I strongly recommend you try this.

3. Galbi
Galbi is a staple food in Korea. This is probably the most fun meal to have with a group. You are seated at a table/grill and given a plate of raw meat. You get to sit around, drink beer and play grill master. Most restaurants have an option of pork, beef or both. But I recommend the beef. Most of the time you will get too much extra fat on the pork.

2. Hwe Dopbop
This is a new favorite of mine. It is a salad with fresh fish, and fish eggs in it. The side dishes served with this dish are equally delicious.

1. Bibimbap
And my favorite Korean food of all time, bibimbap. This may be just a simple salad, but it is done right. It has everything you could ask for in a salad. Fresh veggies, mountain weeds, sprouts, egg and gochujang.
